 HAZWOPER 40 hour Initial class - The HAZWOPER 40 hour class is required for workers that perform activities that expose or potentially expose them to hazardous substances. | 40 hour HAZWOPER Training: This is initial Certification training for any site worker involved with Hazardous Materials. This class is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Topics include protection against hazardous chemicals, elimination of hazardous chemicals, safety of workers and the environment and OSHA regulations. This is HAZWOPER Instructor-Led classroom training, includes Instructor presentation, videos, exercises, “mock” drills, and class discussion. This class follows the OSHA HAZWOPER Standard: 29 CFR 1910.120. Each student, after completion of the final exam, receives a certificate and wallet card. Price: $500.00 per person. 40 hour HAZWOPER Training is offered Monday through Friday at Safety Helpers training facilities nationwide. |
